Excellence in

Organizational Communication 


The Southern California Communication Association will award a minimum of $1,000 to a top performing graduate student at USC Annenberg. After extensive deliberation, our executive board identified a pressing need to provide Annenberg graduate students with scholarship opportunities to fund their education. Further, this award is specifically geared towards the pragmatic application of organizational communication principles.



- A demonstrated interest in organizational communication research, theory and practice.

- Work full-time while completing graduate studies

- A minimum GPA of  3.7 

- Community involvement 

In 500 – 700 words, please articulate the importance of organizational communication, its relationship to business growth and how you plan to incorporate comprehensive knowledge of the discipline into the workplace.



Scholarship submission period (Aug 1st -Nov 1st) 

Finalists selected (Nov 14th) 

Winner notified (Dec 1st)

Awards ceremony (Dec 12th) 

Funds disbursed for spring semester tuition (Dec 20th)
